چکیده
Maximizing the production of high-value olefins from heavy crude oil is a crucial topic in downstream refining industry. However, converting heavier fractions major challenge due to small pore size zeolites. Therefore, this work aimed develop extrudate zeolite catalysts posing adequate micromesoporous network and moderate acidity by combining microporous with boehmite phase alumina. These extruded zeolite-alumina are expected allow sufficient diffusion fractions, thus leading high cracking into valuable olefins. Different varying alumina content ranging 25 75% (AlZ-25, AlZ-50, AlZ-75) were prepared laboratory study optimum ratios for maximum olefin oil. The characterized their chemical physical properties using nitrogen adsorption (N2 adsorption), X-ray diffraction (XRD), inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometry, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, NH3 temperature programmed desorption (TPD). A gradual increase average diameter (APD) was observed ratio distinct range that 125 375°C, also geometry pores not same all supports. Catalytic performance tests conducted fixed-bed reactor at 450°C, 10 bar, liquid hourly space velocity (LHSV) 1 h−1. results revealed thermally stable effective conversion Moreover, selectivity propylene higher than ethylene (P/E) modified textural acidic catalysts. showed mesopores exhibited considerable effect on Hence, mesoporosity play vital role determining catalyst performance.

Synthesis of novel perfluoroalkylglucosides on zeolite and non-zeolite catalysts.
Perfluoroalkylglucosides comprise a very important class of fluorine-containing surfactants. These compounds can be synthesized by using the Fisher reaction, starting directly from glucose and the required perfluoroalcohols. We wish to report on the use of zeolite catalysts of different structure and composition for the synthesis of perfluoroalkylglucosides when using glucose and 1-octafluorope...
متن کاملBioremediation of Heavy Crude Oil Contamination
Crude oil contamination is one of the major environmental concerns and it has drawn interest from researchers and industries. Heavy oils contain 24-64% saturates and aromatics, 14-39% resins and 11-45% asphaltene. Resins and asphaltenes mainly consist of naphthenic aromatic hydrocarbons with alicyclic chains which are the hardest to degrade. Crude oil biodegradation process, with its minimal en...
